The Legacy Farms project is predominantly comprised of stream restoration, enhancement, and preservation activities totaling approximately 23,416 linear feet within the Upper Ocmulgee River Basin (Hydrologic Unit Code 03070103).

Historic agricultural use, channel dredging, and altered landforms created a unique opportunity to restore a major watershed directly connected to the Ocmulgee River. Restoration efforts are designed to fully reestablish stream function, stability, and ecological integrity.
